Cultivating Emotional Balance (CEB) is an evidenced-based, emotion-focused program that has been delivered in health care, education, corporate, coaching and legal systems in over 10 countries. The Cultivating Emotional Balance training was sparked during a meeting between behavioral scientists, a neuroscientist, a monk, a philosopher, and the Dalai Lama in 2000, as a new approach to understanding our emotional lives. Combining contemporary scientific research with contemplative practices drawn from Buddhism, the Cultivating Emotional Balance training gives participants new tools for working with emotion. In this course, we learn about the key components of CEB.

Sometimes we may want to hold on to emotions forever, and other times we may want to banish them immediately. Yet for most of us, emotions are beyond our conscious control-- we don't have a choice, they just happen to us.
